VIZ fails at rendering when a user library is imported. I have created a very simple test case, a library with one part def, and a model that imports that library, defines one part usage and one view. SysIDE shows “no errors in the workspace” (both \*.sysml files). Tom Sawyer renders the view without issues. VIZ fails, unable to find the imported namespace.

The Forum will not allow me to upload the PowerShell script I used to invoke VIZ. Here is the command line:

syside viz view Test-2000-User-Library.sysml --name “T2000UL::MySys::ShowToaster” -o diagrams

Hi David,

That is because the CLI requires you to either list all `.sysml` files required to successfully parse your model. Your command only lists `Test-2000-User-Library.sysml`, but that file does not contain all required information (e.g. “Thing” or “MyTestLibrary”) it errors out. To fix it, you can use the following command. Note the addition of `MyTestLibrary.sysml`.

```shell
syside viz view Test-2000-User-Library.sysml MyTestLibrary.sysml --name T2000UL::MySys::ShowToaster -o diagrams
```

which generates the following diagram:

With viz command, you can also just give directory path that contains all sysml models, so it is not strictly necessary to list each individual file.

You can also include / exclude explicitly more directories with -i (–include) and -e (–exclude) options
