When writing expressions, especially when they involve various attributes separate over multiple elements, it would be useful to quickly see if the expression is formulated correctly. Right now, you’d need to first write a Syside Automator script to check, which can be cumbersome…
Therefore, I’d like to request expression evaluation to also be available in Syside Modeler. For example, right-click on an attribute and evaluate its expression. Or have an option in the Syside Modeler menu (where currently it only has the “visualize current file” option) that would evaluate all expressions in a given file.
Even cooler would be if this updates automatically, so I can just start typing and I can see in realtime whether my expression evaluates to something meaningful or whether there are any errors.
