It seems that it is not possible to visualize action flows, is that right?
Hi @Vaclav_Barta, Syside Modeler v0.8.5 added support for new diagram types, action flows should now be displayed correctly:
Hi Simas,
I am now digging into the tool. Beyond the Sensmetry setup, my next step was to try to load the model created by SysON for the Asatte Press “Quick Start” guide for SysML V2 for SysON. See:
At any rate, it does load the *.sysml file nicely. But visualization only shows package views, even though Obeo seems to be the farthest along the other tool suppliers in terms of providing view elements with expose statements. In our example, the action flow is defined within an action, not a part. No Magic, Ansys SAM, and Obeo SysON are all fine with this. In SysIDE it looks like this:
No action flow. The view inside the tool looks like this:
(Most of the tools are still struggling with guarded successions for some reason. We had to add them as an “artists conception” manually to the image using paint.)
Is there a way to point Tom Sawyer at the “Visitor Arrival Story” action and get it to render the action flow within?
Thanks!
Hi David,
You need to right-click on hte “Visitor Arrival Story” in the diagram and choose “Show Children as Nested”
Then, the action flow will appear:
And yes, we currently do not show the guard conditions as well.
