After successfully installing the solver utility, I ran it with the documented options and got two errors/restrictions on Windows for --show-completion and --install-completion. All options worked in the bash shell for the same installation.

Thanks for raising this. Will try to replicate and fix for the next release. Solver is still very early Labs, so there will be a lot of sharp edges. Thank you for trying it out and helping us improve it!

I reproduced this: --install-completion and --show-completion do not support cmd.exe. We have removed both flags, so syside solver --help now lists only options that work in every shell. The help layout now also matches the other syside commands. All other options and their behavior are unchanged.
The fix will be in syside 1.0.0 at the latest. Thanks again for the report.
